The word "СЪБОР" (Sabor : gathering, assembly) is very special in the Bulgarian language.
The assembly is always held on an important date and its purpose is to gather people who think in the same direction, to get an idea of their numbers, to see what they have done during the year and if there is a good result, to celebrate it. Because the holiday is always about something that has been done, it celebrates what has been achieved.
What is the reason to say that "New Beginning" is the last oasis of the Bulgarian spirit?
In the last 34 years, we have witnessed politicians and oligarchs making loud speeches to the people and promising Bulgaria to be an independent country. In order to realise this promise, it is necessary to develop Bulgarian entrepreneurs, to create a Bulgarian leadership that will ennoble Bulgaria, to have Bulgarian firms that can compete on a global level, and not be local players only. The fact is that none of this happened. This is also the reason why many people repeatedly go to protests, but the frustrating thing is that nothing changes after them. Some promises replace others, but the deeds remain the same. For thirty-four years, Bulgaria has been depopulated and lost faith, not a single thing has been done to restore the faith of the people. After every protest, people lose hope more and more, stop believing in the possibility of making a change, because they are being used, only for someone else to get to power. What is missing is change after the protest. There is no sign of change for Bulgaria or anyone.
It is already the 4th year it stands and the "New Beginning" assembly is an event that celebrates the opposite of protest: construction.
After 2019, Bulgaria is not the same and a group of united ordinary Bulgarians did a miracle by creating the guiding light for a new Bulgaria. The transformation of our homeland from a desolate place overgrown with unbelief into a paradise garden filled with people and hope has begun. In June 2019, a Historical Park opened its doors, which in a unique way restores the true, creative and majestic Bulgarian spirit. A piece of our great history is gathered in one place, reminding us of the strength we carry and that we have inherited from our ancestors.
The project itself is impossible to implement in a country other than Bulgaria, because the work, knowledge, organisation, dedication and efforts that need to be put in are beyond the limits of modern man's consciousness. All this can only be achieved by Bulgarians who fight for their right to a dignified existence. They struggle not just to survive, but to create, leaving a lasting mark. And once again, the strength of the Bulgarian spirit broke the shackles of the impossible odds. The Historical Park was not just created, but a breathtaking complex saw the light of day. Every detail in it makes the Bulgarian's heart skip a beat and then start pounding, pushing faith into every cell of his body. Foreigners, after visiting it, begin to show respect for the strength of the Bulgarian people before and now. Because its very construction today is no less great than what was created years ago.
However, the miracle does not end there.
The construction of the park is a continuous process, which began to conquer the municipality of Vetrino. The first "victim" of the change was the village of Neofit Rilski, next to which the park is located. From a disappearing and desolate Bulgarian village, it has turned into a wonderful gathering place for young people, teeming with life and improving every day. Whoever comes to the town every year sees something unseen in Bulgaria, and that in a period when the whole world has stopped. The visitor notices with amazement that every year this place becomes more and more beautiful. And if in Ephesus the ancient city was rebuilt piece by piece every year, then in Bulgaria a completely new one is being built, which is many times more fabulous and captivating. The pleasure of watching the endless development of an unearthly beauty makes every person feel a sense of favour that spreads over his whole body and lasts for at least a month. There is no motivational seminar that will instill such happiness and confidence in the soul of the attendee as watching the development of this magical place.
The Historical Park is like life-giving spring to a withering plant. It brings back the true essence of the Bulgarian, his essence of creator, warrior, believer, lover, supporter and team player. In today's mercantile world, we realise that money cannot buy friends and live among real people. You can have a house that costs 10,000 euros per square meter, but be surrounded by envious people, thieves, destroyers and environmental polluters, which makes you a prisoner in a golden cage. You create an inner coziness and you don't dare to go outside, because the fairy tale disappears, and the beauty you created at home turns into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. In the village of Neofit Rilski and Historical Park, every visitor is transported to a parallel reality, where outside, among people, is even better than the most expensive and well-kept property. Here one witnesses kindness, dedication and beauty.
Only people who seek and keep this concept in their very souls come to the "New Beginning" gathering. They come to meet their peers and celebrate the beginning of a conquered Greater Bulgaria. When a person of worth meets another person of worth, a bond is sealed and a miracle occurs. When tens of thousands of people with qualities and values assemble at such a meeting, then wonders become reality. The connections that occur between them make it possible to accomplish great deeds, such as stopping wars and changing the course of history. This turns "New Beginning" into the last oasis of the Bulgarian spirit and the beginning of a new, better Bulgaria. It is very important that we rethink our priorities, reorder our tasks and that the gathering is the most important thing that we have to do in the month of June 2023, because that is where we can join forces and be surrounded by those who do and who can , not by promising people. Gathering with similar people helps us, it helps them to know that there is someone to fight for, that there are others like them.
The event has a symbolic entrance fee of 12 levas for adults and 6 levas for children, pensioners and the disabled. It takes place over two days, and the most important thing is the presence of the concert, which will take place on the 24th of June (Saturday) and starts at 8 p.m. This is the apogee of the work done so far: the well-deserved moment when every Bulgarian has something to celebrate , namely the miracles created thus far.
The concert itself is divided into three parts. One part is the performances of wonderful Bulgarian songs by singers who feel what they sing. The classic songs about Bulgaria, our spirit and culture are complemented by new ones made especially for the competition that announced the Historical Park. Many people complain about the chalga that is taking over the Bulgarian music scene, but no one is investing in the development of Bulgarian music, which is useful for the spirit and soul, except the Historical Park. Despite the difficult years, the vicious attacks from the pro-American media, significant funds were mobilised to organise and perform a contest for a Bulgarian song. Thanks to him, wonderful works saw the light of day. Besides being created, these works need to reach the people they are aimed at. Creators need an audience, and this is one more reason to visit the congregation and together nourish our souls with this musical elixir. It is important to remember that we live in this reality that we create, and if we do not dedicate our time and resources to use what has been created by talented Bulgarians, then they will go to create and improve the environment elsewhere.
The second highlight of the evening program is the breathtaking performance of the "Bulgare" ensemble. The third part of the concert is the wonderful performance of DJ 89, which is aimed at the young audience, who will not be able to sleep after all these emotions, so it is combined with a spectacular firework display.
If one were to compare the ticket prices of each component of the evening, one would be convinced that "A New Beginning" was not made to profit from it. In the hall of the NDK in Sofia, such an event would have tickets from 40 to 200 levas, and what is left for three, which are united in one.
We have achieved a lot, we have planned even more, tens of thousands of people have supported us and the result is fantastic. It's time to reclaim our power, and New Beginning is the breath that can do it. We welcome anyone who is thrilled by freedom, creation, unity and adventure! Let's witness history being made and tell our grandchildren about it! It will be great!
