Built as the only place in Bulgaria, representing the inexhaustible wealth of the Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage, the Historical Park is the most suitable location where we can celebrate together the most Bulgarian holiday: The 3rd of March.
To mark the occasion, we have planned an exciting program of events and activities that will engage and entertain visitors of all ages. You can expect a reenactment of the Hajduk oath, folk dance and musical performances, an exhibition stand of reproductions of historical weapons from the time of the national liberation struggles and the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878, the ringing of swords and sabres, as well as an exhibition of birds of prey. The multitude of cultural events will showcase the living traditions and rich past of our nation.
Whether you are a history buff or just want to pay tribute together to the heroes who fought for our freedom, the History Park's holiday program will provide a unique and enriching experience for all.
Informative visits with professional tour guides and animations by experienced instructors will take you far back in time. The park environment of the complex and the amazing views of spacious lakes will surely add to the atmosphere and make the visit even more enjoyable. Delicious traditional food and craft beer will also add to the overall holiday experience.
And for families, we will offer interactive activities such as historical archery, horseback riding, photos with birds of prey, boating or coin minting to take home as a memento of the unforgettable celebration.
