With the idea to preserve and promote the culinary heritage and to present the traditional foods of various ethnic and ethnographic groups, Historical Park becomes for another year the host and organiser of the International Festival of Traditional cuisine.

In the last days of August, on the 24th and 25th, in the vast spaces of the Festival Zone, we will have a meeting with delicious and authentic food, we will get to know the guardians of culinary traditions, we will discover forgotten tastes and we will learn a lot about the culinary culture of our lands.

Bringing together traditions, passion, crafts and creativity, the Traditional Food Festival at the Historical Park will help to transfer knowledge from the past to the present and future.

Ever rarer products and some we do not even know will be rediscovered. The senses will be challenged with forgotten tastes.

Here, in the vast spaces of the Festival Zone, among the wonderful nature, you will have the opportunity to visit culinary workshops and numerous presentations of traditional dishes from Bulgaria and the neighbouring Balkan countries.

For another year, skilled master chefs, famous sommeliers and organic food producers will demonstrate their skills in preparing traditional feasts and producing food that supports our health and spirit.

The abundance of flavours the near and far corners will be a great reason to take a trip to the Historical Park to stay with unforgettable impressions.

In addition to culinary delights, the past will be brought to life through demonstrations by the Historical Park re-enactor team, music and dance performances by local ensembles and many other surprises.
