Khan Presian is the grandson of Khan Omurtag and the father of Prince Boris I the Baptist. During his reign, the process of Slavification of the Bulgarian state continued. The Slavic tribe of the Smolyani, inhabiting the lands between the Western Rhodopes and the Aegean Sea, was included in his territory. Soon after, the lands of Central Macedonia and Southern Albania, which were also inhabited by Slavs at the time, were conquered, and Byzantium tried to regain some of these lands in 847, but failed, and from 847 to 850, Khan Presian led a war of conquest against the Serbs. During his reign, the military-administrative reform initiated by Khan Omurtag was completed.

The sculpture is a suitable gift for collectors and connoisseurs of Bulgarian history.
