Many of these events inspire us to keep moving forward when facing difficult times or to learn a lesson that will help to take better decisions in our lives. Here you can find a brief description of our vision.

Just like our ancestors, we are building a place where our society can live in peace regardless of race, ethnicity and gender. Our idea of equality is that everyone has to have equal opportunities to grow based on his contribution to the community. We are creating an alternative to the current system. Our values are based on education in a way that everyone can reach his fullest potential as a human being.

Spartacus

Creator: Historical Park
See work description

The Bulgarian nation represents a mixture of unions between Thracians, Slavs and Proto-Bulgarians. Spartacus represents the Thracians. He is considered to be one of the greatest freedom fighters of all time. He is famous for one of the largest slave uprisings in history in the 70s of the new era in which more than 120,000 people who spoke more than 15 different languages were united together to form a formidable fighting force. They crushed the Roman army in every single battle for two years. An interesting fact is that Spartacus did not accept marauders and murderers into his lines . His army never robbed civilians. He fighted and took provisions from the Roman army only, which was considered to be a precedent for military work at the time. Spartacus managed to cross the Apennines leading his army, thus gaining their freedom. He could create his own state wherever he wanted, to live as a free man, but he chose to go back to free all his enslaved brothers and sisters. At that time in ancient Rome 10,000 new people were traded daily as slaves in the markets. It was often impossible for a man and a woman to be together or a mother and a father to be with their children. He did not accept these acts of atrocity and savagery and decided to sacrifice fame, wealth and freedom in order to protect the weak and defenseless. This was the beginning of the end of the slaveholding system itself. Spartacus is a symbol of freedom, intransigence, courage and devotion. Spartacus fell in battle and his comrades took out his body and buried it secretly. The Romans wanted to find the body but nobody was revealing the secret. 6,000 people were crucified on the way to Rome and none said where Spartacus' body resided. The body was never found.

Creator: Historical Park
See work description

This is the battle of Aheloy which happened in 917. That is the greatest early medieval battle in European history. In the fight take part about 120 thousand people. The Byzantines fight against the Bulgarians. At that time Byzantium is in peace with all its enemies and brings its most elite army and allies into this battle in order to end Bulgaria's rule in the Balkans. The battle is difficult for both sides. Tsar Simeon tactically hides behind a hill with 2 thousand horsemen waiting for the perfect moment to enter the battle. When he attacks, his white horse is killed and he falls on the ground. His soldiers see their tsar has fallen and they start fighting like never before. As a result the Bulgarians crush the Byzantine army and push it back to the Aheloy river where they kill everyone. According to the chronicles, the elite of the Byzantine army is killed in this battle. Mountains of bones remain there for centuries. Byzantine people were from different nationalities and most of their emperors were Syrians and Armenians. Tsar Simeon did not want to conquer the empire because he realized this would destroy it. He wanted to be chosen by the people so he can keep Byzantium the way it was. That is why he never captured the whole empire.

Thracian king Teres

Creator: Historical Park
See work description

We present the eminent figure of the Thracian king Teres. He lived in the 5th century BC. Teres established the first large state union on the Balkan Peninsula - the Odrysian state, which was much larger than the existing cities, states and tribal unions at the time. The king himself was very clever. He had his own coin minting. He believed that a man can prove himself in only in battle. He lived to the age of 92, and until the last moments of his life he took part in battles. Taking into consideration the fact that an armament at that time weighted up to more than 40 kg we can only imagine the gigantic strength and bravery which this man possessed.
