Thracian "Tilted Bowl"
The bowl is handmade from copper. It is silver-plated with high quality silver and is partially gilded with 24-carat gold.
Antropomorphic Pitcher
Anthropomorphic jug with griffins, a lion's head, sphinx and palm trees. The rich and exquisite decoration of this vessel requires a detailed description to determine the symbolism of each mythical creature depicted. Griffins are an ancient symbol of solar energy, fierce protectors of wealth.
Young Ram Head Rhyton
The other rhyton from the Panagyurishte treasure represents the head of a young ram with barely protruding horns. The handle of the vessel ends with the figure of a lion. Dionysus (Zagreus) is a Thracian god of the reviving and dying nature, of wine, viticulture and merriment.
Stag Head Rhyton
One of the most inspiring vessels from the Panagyurishte treasure is the Stag Head Rhyton. Its handle is a lion with paws on the ridge of the vessel. At the base is an artfully made small female head. The horn has many embossed figurines depicting the myths of Paris and the three goddesses.
