On the 31st of July 2021 was held IV International Tournament "Pliska" of traditional archery, which was attended by more than 70 people from Bulgaria and Romania.
The organisers were Jasmin Parvanov and Emil Neshkinski. The tournament was held on the territory of the National Historical and Archaeological Reserve "Pliska".
The participants attended 4 different circuits, each with 2 disciplines. Distances ranged from 10 to 40 meters.
The winner of the tournament is Joana Nyagolova. You can see a list of the winners in the gallery below, as well as photos from the award ceremony.
Joanna is part of the school for ancient martial arts "Majesty", which hold its training in the Historical Park. Joanna is also part of the Historical Park team. She teaches visitors how to shoot a bow, explains its features and details, and tells about the types of weapons that visitors can see on the shooting range.
