In the period 20.04.2017 – 21.04.2017 a team of representatives of the Historical Park together with the project’s shareholders visited the tenth international EXARC – EAC10 2017 experimental archeology conference held in the Netherlands.
The event was attended by more than 120 representatives of the scientific community, and people who work in museums and tourism (archeological tourism) from 40 countries in the world.
Various objects were presented and different issues related to historical and archaeological reconstructions and experiments were discussed. Crafts and skills practiced in the past were demonstrated. Good business contacts have been established, which are an excellent basis for future partnerships.
The presentation of the Historical Park at the conference was as a result of the invitation of the Director of the International Experimental Archeology Organization (EXARC), due to the full membership of the “Neolithic Settlement ” in it.
Roeland Paardekooper, director of EXARC (the largest organization for open-air museums in the world), was on a working visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of Historical Park AD. He is the author of the most extensive and detailed study of the functioning of open museums and historical attractions. After he became acquainted with the details of the project, Roeland Paardekooper started his collaboration with our team, aiming to popularize and disseminate information about the world’s largest historical attraction.
In the period 25.10.2017 – 30.10.2017 the team of the joint stock company Historical Park carried out a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. A number of business meetings were held with representatives of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, where the economic, cultural and historical features of Bulgaria were presented. The emphasis was placed on the perspectives of the project Historical Park in the context of the global trends in the development of cultural and historical tourism. The first steps for directing tourist flows to the Historical Park were negotiated.
