First Stage – Proto-history and an Area For Relaxation
The fulfillment of this stage will see the building of the following zones and objects:
- Parking Lot;
- Entrance/ “Baba Vida” Castle;
- Ancient Village (Neolithic and Chalcolithic dwellings);
- Thracian Zone;
- “Proto-Bulgarian” Zone;
- “Slavic” Zone;
- Children Playground;
- Interactive Game Zone;
When visiting, the tourists will be entering through the main entrance to the park, where everyone will be offered an opportunity to participate in raffles with different prices (souvenirs, advertising materials and/or free attractions). After the entrance, they will be going on a historical tour through the antique ages on foot or using an amusement train. They will be able to have a detailed look at the zones of each stage, to take a walk and relax by the lake, to take part in different interactive attractions and fun games, as well as help themselves to food and drinks in the two cafes.
During the first stage the offering of food and drinks on the territory of the complex will be carried out mostly in the café in the relaxation area and on the food court in the Thracian area. Cold and warm sandwiches will be offered, as well as ice cream, peanuts, chocolate and sugar products, beer, non-alcoholic drinks and tonics. All first stage visitors will receive an offer for a club “Golden card,” which will provide special treatment during future visits. The card will be assigned to a name and will be usable only by its owner. The idea of this action is to stimulate the return of these visitors to the Historical Park during the next stages of its building, when the entrance fees will be new and higher. The owner of the respective card will maintain the right to enter at the price, used during the period of his original visit.
The official opening to visitors and the start of the active season in the Historical Park is expected towards the end of April 2018.
