The tourism industry has a huge potential all over the world. In Bulgaria we need resources and new business fields that create new working places. Unfortunately, much of the vacant workforce has a low level of qualification or it is under-qualified. Cultural tourism is the realm that can use the potential of these people without education and help them acquire and develop new skills.
„Historical Park“ is a new attraction in cultural tourism. Our goal is to create a project that would be beneficial not only for the investors but also for the population itself, providing many job positions“, said the guest in the studio.
„The history is a resource that we take for granted. This resource has not been fully developed and exploited yet. For example, the USA do not have such a rich history. For that reason, they create fictional images of superheroes like Captain America. As a result of it, a whole industry is being built around them and Hollywood and their authors make millions. We have real characters that we have never used. That is why it is a good idea to present the past of Bulgaria and to tell about the brave actions of the Bulgarian heroes in an appropriate and accessible format“, he also said.
What is the Historical Park itself?
This is a large-scale project for a complex that is an attraction at the same time. It is similar to Disneyland. This historical attraction will be built thirty km away from the city of Varna, in the land of the village of Neofit Rilski. The visitors will have the opportunity to travel thousands of years back in time and to feel the authentic atmosphere and to immerse themselves in the lives of the people who inhabited our lands in different historical ages – prehistory, Ancient Rome, the First and Second Bulgarian Kingdom, etc.
